Finding and posting jobs on 3dtotal

Hi! Welcome to week five of the development blog. We're getting so close to launch we can almost taste it! Each week we're seeing improved functionality and graphics, and we can't wait to be able to launch the first iteration. If you'd be interested in taking a look at the beta in the coming weeks, leave a message below or email

So now on to the good stuff! Everyone wants to do their art for a living, right? That's the dream... and we want to help that dream become a reality. In line with our greater community aspect will be the opportunity for employers to get involved; maybe they'll want a lighting artist for a 6-month project, or a full-time senior character artist - well now they'll be able to let you know.

Employers will be able to create their own page and list/de-list job opportunities as they come and go. Want to work for a specific company? Head over to their page and find out if they're hiring.

Want a specific role and don't mind moving? Narrow down your search parameters to include the role with relocation assistance enabled. Want to work remotely? Tick the box. Just want to check out what's available in your local area? Search by location. It will be easier than ever to find the perfect job for you.

From your profile page, you'll also be able to make yourself available to certain jobs, so employers can contact you. Our aim is to help you get ahead in the industry! If we get great feedback on this, we have a couple more ideas we can try to streamline the process further!

We hope you like the potential offered by this latest update, indicating again our intention to create an artist-focused, art-centric website, that's not only a daily must-visit, but something that can become a genuine tool to push you in your career. Let us know your thoughts below.
